Golden Artist Colors Announces New Director of Operations

Golden Artist Colors is proud to announce the recent hire of Glen Chwala to fulfill the role of Director of Operations.  Chwala is a full time GOLDEN employee based at company headquarters in New Berlin, New York.

In the role of Director of Operations, Chwala will oversee the entire operations and facilities areas, where he will focus on ensuring proper staffing and training levels for optimum functioning, implement lean manufacturing strategies, and have an emphasis on continuous improvement to ensure the safety and efficiency of GOLDEN employees.  With specialties in Lean Six Sigma deployment, coaching, and development, Chwala will make a fantastic addition to the GOLDEN team.

Prior to joining GOLDEN, Chwala was a Production Manager at Chemprene in Beacon, New York, where he was responsible for the direction of six direct support supervisors and 70+ indirect production staff while supporting the increase of the sales budget from $35M to $52M+.  Chwala has often employed Lean Six Sigma and Training Within Industry methodologies in his previous roles to ensure the delivery of best results to customers.

Chwala holds a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from Clarkson University.  He currently resides in the Village of Manlius, NY with his fiancée and their three children.
